Cavalli Stud and Wine Farm in Stellenbosch is one of the more modern and high class wine farms in the western cape. Aside from the outstanding restaurant this farm is truly worth visiting because of other factors, such as its art, architecture, and landscaping. The restaurants approach to cuisine can be described as “a contemporary take on the classics”, encompassing a combination of freshness, flavour and flair. Herbs and a selection of vegetables on the menu are grown in Cavalli’s self sustained organic garden. The bulk of ingredients on the menu is sourced locally. Reservation required, especially in summer months.
